Smart Bar QualityUpdated a month ago

At Cerebelly, we have held ourselves to higher standards from Day 1. If you have recently had a product quality issue with our Smart Bars, you may have received product from a batch that experienced a mold issue that can be seen on the surface of the bar. 


During our investigation into this issue, we proactively contacted the FDA and corrective actions were immediately put in place, including stopping shipments of all potentially impacted product/lots. A third-party lab analyzed our Smart Bars and concluded that there is no evidence of a safety risk, however we are initiating a voluntary recall of a limited quantity of Cerebelly Smart Bars due to surface mold visible on the product. 


This voluntary recall is isolated to the following lots (23055BW, 23081BW, 23083BW, 23086BW, 23087BW, 23089BW, 23093BW, 23094BW). This product was distributed through Cerebelly.com and at retailers in U.S. This recall does not involve any other Cerebelly products, including Purees and Smoothies.

The mold on the bar is not toxic nor known to be harmful if consumed by healthy children. We continue to work with the FDA and our retail partners to minimize customer impact. 


If you purchased a box of Smart Bars from an affected lot, you should have received an email that contained refund instructions. If you have not received this email, please reach out to [email protected] and we will work to issue you a refund.
